The Cost and The Kingdom Pt 1: Finding Satisfaction in Christ

For the next few weeks, I want to pull out some excerpts from a message I preached many years ago entitled the Cost and the Kingdom. Let me apologize for the audio quality — it’s not great, but it’ll still do the job.

So, the first from the message will unpack, Colossians 3:1-3, which reads:

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

So this week, my challenge for you is that as you pray direct you attention in Christ, towards finding your life or being reminded of that life He has for you. Ask for courage to live it. Ask for faith to express it. Ask for wisdom to know how to share it, in pocket or niche you are called to enter into…

Let’s Pray: Heavenly father help us to set our heart and minds on you. And help us to see in you, the life you for us. And if we can see it, give us the courage to live it. In Jesus Name. Amen .
