I have noticed that when I become silent, things are not healthy. Key relationships that don’t naturally collide with my normal life are neglected, my blog gets dusty, my creativity sapped, and bad habits begin to sprout. Have you noticed this in yourself or others? People begin to withdraw from regular meetings or fellowship. Their Facebook status goes un-updated for months… drastic weight changes… Or whatever.
I know that we all operate in one way when healthy and another way when coping. So, I encourage you to seek out those you care about when they go AWOL. And also check yourself when you see patterns of isolation and emotional/creative drought.
