When you have lived for a long time in the muck of mediocrity, getting kicked out the nest and forced to make it on your own can bring out a side to you that you never knew you had.I recall when I started my first business nine years ago. It was right after I was laid off from Barnes and Noble. I could no longer just read self-help books for a living. I had to start helping myself live for real.
But now almost a decade later, I find myself needing another kick in the pants. Not to take me out of mediocrity, but rather into making my work align closer to my life’s passions. So if perhaps you’ve found life kick you out of a comfortable place; maybe its time to take steps towards doing things that matter to your heart.
When change is forced upon you, I encourage you to embrace it and take it as sovereign motivation.
