Have you ever done an assessment of yourself? Added up your personal worth, your accomplishments, degrees or what have you.I was just listening to a song and the first words were “all I am is all I have, and all I have I give to you.”
When I think of what all I have, the physical and monetary don’t give the full picture of my worth. But locked up inside my heart and mind are million dollar ideas and earth shaking potential.Yeah, I think the value within us is infinitely more than our past successes and present status.
And so when it comes to offering something of value to God, I think he’d rather have us surrender our dreams (our Isaac) more than he would our pocket book.Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
