So what do you think about this thought? Everything God speaks/leads/does is to direct our LIFE, not just our current season.
God wants fruit. And really fruit that will last 20 to 50 to maybe a million years. And so, when we start evaluating every decision we made in obedience and look for some type of fruit- months or a couple years later could be premature.
We need to be faithful and patient for decades if necessary. God’s path may start with a dream, then our life may lead us to tragedy, slavery, or jail – but where ever we find ourselves we must be 100% faithful in the present season.
If Joseph’s mind was stuck on his own unfulfilled dreams he never would have stopped to interpret others’. And so, if we think we have to “make” God’s plans happen for our lives by neglecting the need/season in front of us, we may miss or mistake His process which is preparing us for an over arching plan.
