I remember in undergrad a friend mentioned how they had to earn their sleep.
It was a figure of speech they picked up about making sure you accomplish your priorities for the day before heading to bed.
I also recall once being questioned by an executive coach about how I handled my business tasks. He eluded to the idea that if I wasn’t committed to doing whatever it takes to get things done daily, I lacked the discipline for success as an entrepreneur.
Tonight, for the third night in a row, I’m laying in the bed, ready for sleep but also trying to stick to my daily writing goal.
Perhaps some of these experiences, along with a few regrets are getting to me.
If you can’t “do it early” you minus well find a way to do your stuff late.
If you can’t do it to perfection, doing it poorly is better than nothing.
Sweet dreams.
