Results & Photos From Avriell’s 2014 USA Gymnatics Experience

When we first arrived on the camp grounds. We were all quite excited. Avriell posed for a few pics around various signs.

Below is the actual place where USA Olympic athletes train. No one used it while we were there, but we did walk through.

No, we never met Gabby Douglas or any other olympic athlete. We only saw photos on the wall. 🙁

Meet Richard. Avriell’s coach from SSB Kids in Broken Arrow, OK.

This was a pretty cool wall, eh?

This is where Avriell competed and was tested.

Avriell and her friends had LOTS of built-up energy. Which they released on monkey bars, see-saws and a basketball court.

Here is Avriell amongst all the other athletes during the orientation.

Unfortunately, neither parents nor spectators were allowed to see anything! We couldn’t even get near the building while testing was happening. So we only heard second-hand from her coach how she did.

She did her best, but was not selected to be apart of the team.

We’re so very proud of her, and hope to try again next year.

The current season is just starting with her first meet in January 2015.
