My dreams and goals are pretty simple.
Bulleted items, handwritten in worn down Moleskine notebooks.
You know.. the normal stuff:
- Change the World
- Create Multimillion Dollar Organizations that Make People Better
- Love My Wife
- Raise Perfect Kids…
But my excuses!
They’re not written anywhere, but yet live in high-definition and 3D my head!
Always available to whip some crazy idea back into submission.
I can describe in pin-point details all the reasons why I cannot finish this, or start that.
Yeah, I find the mind can be amazingly creative in it’s justifications for inactivity.
And so, what I normally have to do, is look over what I’ve already written and find something I’ve already told myself…
ie. Start Thinking Small, Become a Finisher, If It’s Important, etc.
(Yes, I’ll admit, I use my blog somewhat as a journal. It’s not super personal, but it’s has enough detail to remind me what I was thinking/feeling and learning)
Do you take good notes or keep a journal?
The best and most motivating words you’ll ever find are likely words you’ve already written.
Most of us just need regular reminding not more study.
It’s never to late to start living and honoring the gifts, abilities and ideas you’ve been given.
Let’s get to work!
